Training to become unfit

September 8th - that's the last time I blogged...it's also close to the last time I ran. It's not that I don't like running anymore, it's just the reno has taken a lot of my time so much so that even in my spare time I've been too tired to consider pounding the pavement.

That being said, I have been in the weight room with regularity over the past few weeks. I head in there lunchtime for an hour or so and I'm feeling pretty good about that. I want to burn off a few more pounds and the weight room, along with some running, is the way to go for me - must convert fat to muscle, must convert fat to muscle, must convert fat to muscle.

I did hit the streets this morning and clocked 17 minutes at an easy pace, which again, is the same as my hard pace. All-in-all, I felt pretty good. I wanted to run for 15 minutes so mission accomplished.

Going to try a 5-K tomorrow, to see if I still have it in me. They say it takes three times less time to become unfit than it does to become fit - I'll let you know if that's true after tomorrow.
